FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q. Do I need to buy tickets ahead of time?
A. No. Entrance is a suggested donation of $5 per person or $10 a family and is made when you arrive
Q. How do I get to Music in the Canyon?
A. Music in the Canyon is in Sabino Canyon at 5700 N. Sabino Canyon Rd. The event itself is about ½ a mile up the main road of Sabino Canyon. There will be signs at the entrance to Sabino Canyon showing you where to park. Once parked, volunteers will direct you to the event.
Q. Will I have to pay to park?
A. No. There will be free event parking, follow the signs at the entrance to Sabino Canyon on the day of the event. The main parking lot will charge the regular fees. This means if you have a yearly pass it will also be free to park in that lot.
Q. Can I bring my own food?
A. Yes. So long as it is not in glass containers but we encourage you to support the fundraiser by purchasing food at the event
Q. Will food/drinks be available?
A. Yes. A selection of food and drinks will be available for purchase at the event.
Q. Are there any accommodations for those with difficulty making the walk?
A. Yes. The Forest Service provides golf cart rides from the event parking lot to the site.
Q. Can I bring a stroller, wheelchair, backpack?
A. Yes
Q. Can I bring my dog? Can I bring my dog on a leash?
A. No. Dogs are not allowed in Sabino Canyon.
Q. Do you have seating?
A. Yes. We have bleachers and 400 chairs. You can also bring your own folding chair or blanket, etc.. if you would like to.
Q. Do you have restrooms at the event site?
A. Yes. We have port potties (including a handicapped) and a hand washing station at the site. The closest regular restrooms are at the entrance to Sabino Canyon.
Q. What do you recommend wearing, bringing to the event?
A. Dress like you would to take a hike in Sabino Canyon. Wear comfortable shoes and clothes you can walk in. Bring sunscreen or a hat. If you do not plan to purchase a drink at the event, bring water.
Q. Do you serve Alcohol? Can I bring Alcohol?
A. No, we do not serve alcohol and alcohol is not allowed in Sabino Canyon.
